Does anyone know why Clara Cluck gets such a big role in the Boo to You parade? Her float seems really out of place.

Love the parade though!

It's the float that goes with the western/farming motif. Giant chicken house - giant chicken

Haha, I got that. Just wondering about why they added the giant chicken house in the first place. They have other western characters I feel like wouldn't come from so far out of left field.

Not complaining, just wondering.

Because the song just wouldn't make sense without her ...

But in all seriousness this questioned was asked before and someone posted a link to Clara Cluck in (I think) a Halloweenish theme. I searched and got nothing, but I remember watching it on a thread before.

I always saw the cowboy theme as the harvest part of the year, personally.

Agree with PP. There was a previous thread about Clara Cluck being in the Boo to You parade. That thread talked about the fact that the parade included many of the early Disney characters, not because of Halloween theming, but because of their classic Disney status.

I found a site which identifies characters from the Boo to You parade. You might be surprised by who's in the parade, some famous and others lesser-known: http://www.charactercentral.net/L10...World_MagicKingdom_MickeysBooToYouParade.aspx

Could it be that they already had that float "left over" from another older parade and just decided to utilize it in Boo to You?

What I want to know is where did the bloodhound come from? The one who is supposed to be with the caretaker of the Haunted Mansion (Horace Fusselbottom, if that above website has the correct name of the guy). Does Disney rent a bloodhound from someone for the stretch of parties??
