Thanks ladies! One of Dh's friends in the box took a direct hit from the Edmond tornado. His house only has 2 walls still standing. We were watching the news coverage of that one. It was very scary. Just saw that the nws had issued a tornado watch for us, so I will be watching the sky for the next few hours.

Ladies, please pray for those in the path of today's tornados. We are hearing reports of a hugh tornado hitting Moore, just south of OKC. I've heard that it hit a elementary school and hospital. So far we are safe, but the line is heading this way. We have many friends and family who are being impacted.

Yes, they are showing that it is an elementary school (Plaza towers)... and they believe there is another school gone too.... in Moore, OK...

Prayers are going out from our home to OK!!!

They are reporting it was about a mile wide and on the ground for an hour! Oh my word... this is reported on CNN... no first had knowledge by me...

We are hearing basically the same thing. Everyone at work is steaming live Okc stations. The pictures are devestating. They are saying it is worse than the 1999 tornado, and that one was horrible. We are hoping to hear from loved ones soon.

They canceled Jaci's softball game, so we will be home watching the sky. I will try to keep you updated. I will try to get someone's cell number in my phone incase our internet goes down.

Thanks Nan! I will enter your number in my cell. We will in a very small town, but I will give you guys a general idea where we are, so if you are watching the coverage, you will know where to look for us. We live about 1 hour due east of Ardmore in south central OK. It looks like we have a couple of hours before it hits here.

We have heard from 2 sets of cousins. We know that they were heading into their safe rooms, but we haven't heard anything since. I'm praying that the lack of communications is due to down cell towers and power lines.

I will update you as I know more.

I heard from Sheila about 7:50pm EST.. they were in a warning and were with her inlaws since they have a storm cellar.
