Hi

Has anybody had any experience taking their children to City Walk?
If so what was it like for them. Our DD's will be 17 and 10.
What do you think, will it be ok for the 10 yo?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi Osmonty,

City Walk is fine for children. If you are eating there the restaurants etc all cater for youngsters and they have great atmosphere. Mowtown cafe is great with Karaoke on most nights to keep them entertained and if they're sports fans then NBA Cafe and Nascar Cafe are both a must. Loads of people rave about the Hardrock Cafe aswell but we haven't done this one. If you're not eating there then its great to walk around but probably won't fill a full evening out.

It's not as 'child orientated' as Downtown Disney so may be better for older children. Although obviously the nightclubs are out of bounds for kids they usually have something going on the stage in the centre of the complex which is free to watch. And, of course there's the shops and cinema too.

We have taken DD (aged 7) a few times and she loves it - especially running through the shooting fountains in the centre.
