I'm here! I am going to attempt to keep up, too! I got SO behind on the Pre-trip report....

I am loving the start of your trip report -- great shots, and I'm loving Lauren's perspective.

I'm loving that all I have to do is insert the pictures, spruce it up a little, and post.

Hi! Great start to the report. I've read your others and decided to come out of lurkdom on this one. New York looks brilliant; I'm adding it to my mental list of 'places I have to visit one day'. Definitely agree with Judy's opinion of pidgeons.

Well now, you just became Mrs Judy's favorite post-er. Yes, she did lose some....this spring we did the Insanity Workout program (and still are). She got to her goal-weight faster than I did, so she won bragging rights. This morning she told me she did the "max cardio recovery" workout, and I said I'm doing the "max vacation recovery" workout, as I haven't done anything since getting back -- I'm still trying to recover from the trip. But I'm still at my goal-weight (by dumb-luck somehow).

I've done most of the standard tourist stuff, so maybe hit some of the other areas. Maybe a trip out to Long Island or places like that would be an interesting change.

Hi Glenn! Thanks for sending me the link, I've been looking forward to this TR!

I guess I skimmed over your intro to the second post in blue, because I didn't realize that Lauren was narrating until the end. I thought it was a bit odd that you mentioned your mom so much (since she's not on this part of the trip) - and I did think it was sweet that you accompanied the ladies into the city. I was starting to wonder how long you were going to horn in on their girls only weekend when you posted a pic of Judy in the cab and called her mom. I was still a bit confused so I scrolled back up to the top and OOOOHHHHH, now I get it! I think I need a late afternoon caffeine jolt - I'm starting to go soft in the head!
