Folks:

Does City Hall (or another location) at DLR offer a ink stamp / seal to be embossed on a postcard before I mail it from the park? At MK, I was able to have Guest Relations at City Hall apply an ink stamp to my postcards that would demonstrate it was being mailed from MK at WDW. I realize that the mail is picked up and transported to Anaheim Post Office so the post mark will be from Anaheim not DLR. But, does DLR offer a decorative stamp / seal to "jazz up" my postcard?

We mailed a postcard from a Disneyland mailbox and the postmark said it came from Santa Ana.

On another note, Disney barely sells postcards. I'm not sure why they still have mailboxes in the parks.

Great question Obi J Kenobi. I enjoy sending out happy mail and would have loved to have gotten an outgoing postcard stamped at Disneyland.

I haven't been to Disneyland since before Covid. Dad and I God willing will get there later this year if not for sure next year. On my last trip in 2019, the A Mart by the Candy Cane Inn had a wonderful assortment of postcards and at (for a touristy area) a reasonable price. I hope this helps someone :)

The Disneyland postmark went away in the early 2000’s. So sad! It was always great to send mail out of The Park to family with the special postmark.

I’ve only found postcards in the DLR resort hotels, GCH & DLH. I pretty sure they were in a pack of several and I didn’t think the images were all of that iconic.

Don’t forget to bring your own postage to mail it out!

They sell postcards with Disney art on them in Disneyana, Off the Page, and Wonderground. They start at $6.99 a piece.

Those are more art than postcards, IMO at 6.99.
I’m currently in a resort area and they are selling postcards for 35 cents.

What do you mean by resort area? In the hotels, DTD and parks, they don't sell 35 cent postcards. There are shops on Harbor that sell postcards. I'm not sure any are as cheap as 35 cents. Shoot, postage for a standard postcard is 56 cents.

The hotels in the DLR still have free stationery in the rooms or if requested, believe it or not. My point is that 6.99 is outrageous for a “postcard. I’m currently in a resort location that is spendy and they have postcards for 35cts. If they can do it so can DLR.
