City Hall Buttons

It will be our kids (and my husband's) first trip to DL and I want to get the buttons/badges to celebrate that fact. Is it possible to pick them up at City Hall the night before? We're arriving on Sunday but not visiting to park until Monday. We want to do Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness so won't have time to make a stop first thing that morning.

My last visit was in 1989. Is there a button for "returning" guests?

Since City Hall is in the park, I'm not sure how you could get them early.

When I was there in October, they gave Celebrate buttons to myself, dd, and dm when we picked up ds a first time pin to ensure our entire party had a pin. The kids' great uncle already had an honorary citizen pin

Can you get them in downtown disney or if you're staying in the disneyland hotel from there. That is exactly our plan, we arrive Sunday but aren't going to the parks until Monday and heading right to Toontown morning madness. It is all of our first visit.

You won't be able to get them at City Hall if you're not planning on going into the park that day. I know they have the birthday buttons at Guest Services (i think that's what it's called) which is outside DL to the left of the turnstiles. They might have the other buttons there too but I don't know for sure. You could also try the ticket booths. They might have buttons there.

Also, if you can't find them the night before, you don't have to wait in that long line at city hall to get the buttons. Some of the stores have them too. I know the Emporium has them and we've also gotten them at the store that's by the IASW exit (which is right by toontown, btw).

They don't have one that says "i've returned!" but they do have one that says "i'm celebrating" which you could get. That's sort of their generic one that covers all the other occasions.

I've heard you can get them at the front desk of the on-site hotels (no personal experience with this) not sure about DTD but see my previous post about other options.

You can get them in the hotels AND the "disney" stores DTD!!!

We actually got our 1st time buttons at the Disneyland Ticket counter...right after security...where you would buy tickets to get into Disneyland if you havent already bought them somewhere else. I had a problem with our tickets so had to go there and the cast member asked if this was our first time and we said yes and so she gave us the buttons!!!! So it might be possible , granted they still do that...but im sure they would

Ask at the world of disney. Also if you can't get there and the line is long LavenderPeach is correct, emporium does for sure have them! We skipped the super long line tuesday and got my son a birthday button over there...no wait! Also the ladies at the baby station have first time buttons as well Charlie got his at 2 weeks. I didnt ask, they just brought one over with the date on it. Those ladies are so sweet!

We just went a couple of weeks ago, and they had the buttons waiting for us at check in at the Grand Californian. If you are staying at one of the DLR hotels, just make sure that the reservation notes what you are celebrating...and they will have the buttons waiting for you.

Just an FYI....I would say almost EVER store has them...you just have to ask

Also, super fast place to get them is in DCA at the info booth!!!!
