I have heard that you can go to City Hall to learn the whereabouts of the characters.

Do they hand you the character information in a print-out?

Do you have to ask about a specific character first?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :goodvibes

Thank you, in advance.

You go to City Hall and ask them where and when ________ will be. They will look up the schedule FOR THAT DAY and tell you.

Of course things can change over the course of the day, but they have the schedule for what is "supposed to" happen.

Yeah Disney Dreams has it right. You can also get a brochure at the turnstiles which will also tell you where some character meet and greets will be and when.

When we were there in November I asked about Chip & Dale, twice.

Both times all the CMs did was handing me the same leaflet that you could pick up at the entrance. Both claimed there was no schedule where they could look Chip & Dale up for me. :confused3

At both City Hall and at the Wait Times Board at the end of Main Street, the CM's have a phone where they can call a "Character Finder CM". The character finder should be able to tell the CM you are asking approximately when and where a specific character will appear that day, or if a specific character has the day off.

ANY CM can call the Toonfinder. If they don't know the number, ask someone else.

We tried the CM at the wait time board - he called the toonline, told us Donald wouldn't be in the park today and as we were leaving that evening, Donald was at the Square - so don't always go by what they tell you.

About City Hall - my DW and DD were in there getting our 1st visit pins and asked about Donald & Daisy. The gentleman behind the counter said that Daisy doesn't come out but he would be glad to take the autograph book to her and catch her before the parade, and we could pick the book up later. We were sitting at the Square waiting for the parade and he found us and delivered the book to us with Daisy's signature! I failed to get his name, but what an awesome gesture to go out of his way and do that for my kiddos and then to spot us and bring the books to us! Truly magical!
