So, we are planning on going to Citricos the night of MNSSHP, but before the party.
Our reservation is at 5:35, do we need to be dressy? Or are flip flops acceptable with capris? :confused3

We normally freshen up before dinner, but, this night we will probably leave MK, go eat, then go back for the party..

Citricos goes by Disney's normal Signature Restaurant dress code. However they aren't that strict about it so I'm sure they won't say anything.

Just googled and this is the dress code listed (not sure if this is the most recent listing):
While the in-park restaurants have no dress codes, a number of the finer restaurants at the Walt Disney Resort hotels do. Disney’s “Signature” restaurants at their on-property resort hotels all have either a Business Casual or Formal Dress Code. See the chart below for a list of the specific restaurants with requirements on attire.

The guidelines for each dress code are as follows:

Business Casual Dress Code

Attire considered appropriate by this dress code is:
• Dress shorts
• Dress pants
• Jean pants
• Collared shirts
• Blouses
• Sweaters
• T-shirts

Please Note; On July 1, 2007, Disney changed the dress code policy to include T-shirts.

Attire not permitted by this dress code is:
• Hats
• Swimsuits
• Swimsuit cover-up's
• Tank tops
• Torn clothing
• Flip-flops

**Edited to add that the .pdf file explaining the dining plan lists the dress code as:
Dress Code for Signature Restaurants is Business Casual. Not
permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimsuits or swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, or torn clothing of any kind.

However, I will say that we ate at many Signature restaurants on our honeymoon, and Citricos was the only one that asked us to take off our bride and groom ears because of the no-hats policy...

Guest Policies

* Dress Code Guidelines:
Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.
Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.

Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.

OP, I have eaten at Citricos at least a half dozen times and flip flops with capris are perfectly acceptable here and at any other Disney signature.

:thumbsup2 We made an ADR for the same day once while in MK. I was worried we would be underdressed but they assured us we'd be fine. I had on jean shorts, a nice T (scalloped neck, fancier short sleeves, flops) and dh had on khaki shorts and a golf shirt. I wish I would have dressed up a little more, but since it was an early adr, I saw many people dressed similarly to us.
