We took our DD (then 14 months) who is quite well behaved to the CG for dinner in May. Their were many kids in our area, maybe 8 in total, although I believe they put the families with children in one area together. It's not like it was beside the kitchen though or anything, we had a great view of the fireworks from our table. The server was very understanding of our daughter, brought her food early, told me not to clean up when she dropped some pasta (which I did anyway), etc. It is an adult restaurant but you needn't feel embarassed if you take a child it is Disney after all and both guests and servers expect to see children around. The other guests were quite charmed by DD and several talked to her, she and one little boy about 7 or so fell in love with one another and she keep turning around and waving at him made his and his parents evening. If you go with a young child, just observe the common rules of etiquette and leave if your DD or DS starts to disturb other patrons. We loved it, have fun!
