We are going to La Nouba after a day at the Animal Kingdom Park later in October, 2003 for the 6 PM show. How much time do we need to allow to get to the site of the show in Downtown Disney? Should we drive (we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge) or take Disney transportation? If the Animal Kingdom Park closes at 5 PM, can we stay till closing and still have enough time to get to the show? How early do we need to get to the show if we will already have tickets? Thanks for any help.

You really want to be in your seats 30 minutes prior to the show, 5:30, as there are lots of fun things they do before showtime. If you are spending a full day at AK, and think you might be sweaty, I suggest maybe cutting out early, heading back to AKL to freshen up and maybe drive over. I have never stayed at AKL but have heard buses are not as frequent as some of the others, (not sure though). I have always driven to DTD, except when using boat from DxL, I like the flexibility of it.

If you freshen up after your AK day, you'll feel MUCH better sitting through a 2 hour performance (including the 30 minute warmup)(as well as your seating neighbors) and enjoy the balance of the evening at DTD.

Here is a bit of info. I have seen the show twice and would love to see it again, a great performance.

We were just there and I also think you should leave a little earlier. The buses were running anywhere from 15 to 30min apart, so if you just miss one you might have to wait. If you drive you will be able to plan better. The tickets say to arrive 30mins ahead, from what we could tell if you arrive late and the performance has already started they will make you wait at the entrance to you section until the first break in the show.

Also you really don't want to miss any of this show it is wonderful.

My opinion is the same as Dan's, I think it is the best show on WDW property.

Cirque is AMAZING! lol I love it! :)

I totally agree with Dan...cut it short, get all dressed up and clean and then drive over...b/c you can park right in front of the tent and then when it's over, you can just drive back to your hotel and not have to worry about a bus
