I'm thinking of getting tickets for Cirque this summer (July) and I have a few questions. First, is there a DVC discount on tickets? Second, are there any "bad" seats? Thanks! Jaylie :goodvibes

I am not sure about the DVC discounts, but when we went about 4 years ago, I don' t think there were any BAD seats there per se because of the stadium seating and the action that occurs all around at all levels. Some will say if you sit too close to the stage you have difficulty seeing everything that happens behind (or above!) you, but then again if you sit too far back, some of the stuff on the stage might look too small. Best bet = go for the middle! :) That's what we did and we LOVED the show...even my parents, who are NOT Cirque type people!

I think it varies as far as discounts, if you go to the member site it should be listed there. When I went last year I did get a discount and the show was great. We went the last evening before heading home and it really topped the trip off!:goodvibes

We did Cirque a couple weeks ago. Their really are no bad seats. I wouldn't recommend sitting way up front like a previous poster said. Cat 1 on the second level provides really great viewing. We were front and centre and wished we were back a bit. HTH

Totally agree - not a bad seat in the house. In the "nose bleed" seats you are 75 feet away from the stage! BUT - if you sit way up front you will break you neck trying to watch everything because there is so much going on in different places.

I have gotten discounts before... can't remember if it was DVC, Disney Visa, or AP though.

We had seats: Sec 203 Row EE Seats 9, 10, 11, 12 (seating chart) which I thought would be great for my kids. As there wouldn't be anything but an opening in front of us and they would be able to see everything....well there are lights right there in front of those seats above the walk way.

Now I don't think they couldn't see anything, but it was kind of annoying, so much that the folks in seats 13 and 14 complained and were moved elsewhere.

For what it's worth.

8 y/o will love it, without a doubt.

The 3 y/o will probably love it as well...but it might be a little long, do you go and see movies with them? Are they used to sitting still for an hour and half...the show is very entertaining and engaging, they will probably be fine.

Last Jan my daughter just turned 4 and love it. She still talks about the little girls with the diabolos.

do you think a 8 and/or 3 y/o would enjoy the show?

We just recently went with my 4 year old and my 9 month old in April. My 4 year old loved it...on the edge of her seat. My 9 month old was facinated by everything there was to look at..but by 7PM she was conked out in my DH lap.

If there is a DVC discount, it usually is 25% off tier 2 seats.

If you do take the kids, and I agree the 8 YO will have a blast. Be sure to pick up a free boster seat so their view is not blocked.

We received the 25% discount on Cat 2 seats April 2007 and Nov 2006. We've seen the show five times and always catch something new. We love it!
