Cirque Du Soleil for kids????

Hello,

Can anyone give me advice on taking my son 5 and my daughter 7 to Cirque Du Soleil? I was planning on getting a babysitter for my 14 month old daughter, but didn't know whether to take my other kids?

Is it a good show for kids? Will they enjoy it? Did your kids enjoy it?

I'll take any advice? Also, where close to Cirque did you eat before the show with or without kids?

Never had kids when we went..we'll be leaving our 1 yr old for this one. I did see children there and they seem to enjoy it but be aware there is no intermission so ~90min straight through. You're the best judge of their interests and attention levels. You can see many of the Cirque shows on Bravo (cable) so check your listings and see if they would be interested.

We did Cirque and DD11 wants to go again!

DD who can get ancy(sp) did not mind at all there was no break!

We ate at Planet Hollywood which may be a little loud for them but the food is good!

There is a McDonald's there if you are willing!LOL

We saw Cirque last year with our DS who was 7 & DD who was almost 9. Both kids loved it! Of course, DH & I also loved it, but I wasn't sure if the kids would "appreciate" the show! Since seeing Cirque at Disney we have watched the other Cirque shows on Cable & my kids love them all. I wish Disney would offer another Cirque show & we would all see it in a heartbeat! It's amazing how fast 90 minutes go by! Enjoy! Kathy

I made my reservations today for the adults only. I figure after a week at Disney, I'll take advantage of babysitting and have an adults night out. Figure I'll make reservations for Portabello's for dinner after the show.
