Cirque de Soleil seating question

Just received my tickets for Cirque. My seats are Section 204, RowBB, Seats 2 and 3. These are category 1 seats. I read on Mousesavers.com that these were "not desirable seats due to a sight obstruction." Has anyone had these seats before and what is the "sight obstruction?" Thanks for any info. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I've never had the seats, but, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Enjoy the show!

I have never seen a bad seat, either. Strange....

baileybell - I will be inside Cirque Du Soliel on Sunday, and I can walk over to your seats and see what might be an obstruction.

The only reason I can think that I wouldn't like seats 2 & 3 is that people may need to step over top you to get to and from their seats. Row BB is excelent though, in my opinion.

If you e-mail me at teshear@uwm.edu with your seat numbers, I'll check them out. ( i just need a reminder. )

Those seats are great. There is not a "sight obstruction" to the stage, you are in the second row of the center section. You have the sound booth right next to you which is the only thing I can think of that someone would call an obstruction (but unless you plan on looking at section 205 instead of the stage you will not have any issues.) You will not have to worry about people stepping over you though as there are only 3 or 4 seats in that row because of the sound booth. We have sat in AA before and we have EE (just behind the sound booth in October)... I don't think you will be disappointed.

i have been to the show 3 times and have sat in different places each time and there is not a bad seat in the house.

Thanks everyone. I feel a lot better about the seats now. Humphreythebear: When in October will you be there? We'll be there on October 22. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

baileybelle - I litterally sat in your seats tonight to check them out. The only slight obstruction, as said before, is the tech booth. This doesn't limit ANY of your stage viewing, but may limit your viewing of the "parade" at the opening of the show. You'll only miss the performers for a couple seconds as they pass through one blind spot. Once everything gets on stage though, the seats are awesome.

TSR6: Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my seats. Disers are the best!!! :disrocks:

I think the sight obstruction if from people walking in front of you in the main aisle.

BB is high enough that you'll mostly be looking over their heads still.

baileybelle - no problem at all! When will you be seeing the show?

My DH and I will be there on Saturday, October 22 for the 6pm show. This is the 1st time we see Cirque de Soleil. This is also our 1st WDW trip without the kids. My kids are now 23 and 21.

It will be fun to slow the pace down a bit. There's a lot of live entertainment and musical acts I want to actually sit down and watch. The "kids" are always more interested on just going on the rides. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
