Cirque after La Nouba

I have this feeling Zed

will replace this show. But why don't they work with Disney to create new characters for a circus based show and to use disney imagineering to build an exclusive acts and a new style cirque show.

I was thinking the steampunk traveling one (Kureos) or the Avatar one (Turak) will pitch their tents somewhere in Orlando and during that break Cique will create a new show for the space. Maybe they'll let Disney have an input and maybe not.

Cirque du Soleil routinely creates new shows. Based on that fact, I don't think they will recycle an "old" show for the Disney Springs location. As for the possibility of working with Disney Imagineering, I honestly don't see the need. I've seen 12 Cirque du Soleil shows. Although some have been better than others, every one of them has had multiple "wow" moments. They are not a company lacking in creativity.

I do agree with wilkeliza about the tent. While the permanent theatre is retrofitted to whatever is next, I think they will set up one of their tent shows in the parking lot at Disney Springs. The West Side restaurants and shops probably need those thousands of guests attending a show to stay afloat.

If that does happen, the show won't be "Toruk" (the Avatar one). That show is designed for a sports arena. It won't work in the tent. From a business perspective, it's unlikely that they will use a show that's already toured the country (like "Kurious"). My best guess would be that their latest touring show "Volta" would be used. That show opens in Montreal in April, followed by dates in two other cities in Canada through the end of October 2017. Typically, touring shows go south for the winter, so placing "Volta" in Orlando starting January 2018 would make sense.
