Hi everyone. I know on here that there is a slipper that you can order and have at the CRT breakfast. When I read that thread, it said to call the dinning number. Well, I just did that and the woman I talked to had no idea what I was talking about.:sad2: Is there another number to call? She gave me a number for ordering birthday cakes. But it is not a toll free number, so I figured I would wait to see what all of you have to say before wasting the money.
Thanks in advance for your help. :earboy2:

I found a web site with a picture and description of this dessert. It's someone's wedding web site, apparently they got married at WDW. Here's the link, just scroll down the page to where you see it: http://www.ourfairytale.com/receptionmoments_cakecutting.html

DH and I are having our anniversary dinner at the castle in July, I'd LOVE to be able to surprise him with this dessert. I someone remember reading something about this before, but I didn't pay close attention to the details...

The Cinderella Slipper is made at the Grand Floridian Bakery. I know there was some talk recently that it could be served at the Castle, but Im not sure if even those ones are made at the GF and shipped over or if they are actually made at the Castle.
You may want to try calling the GF bakery directly at 407 824-2978 to see if that is the case. This is the number we called to get ours, and although this doesnt seem to be the norm, we were able to pick them up at the lobby entrance to 1900 Park Fair and take them to go. They were even placed on white chocolate plates and boxed up for us.
I hope it works out for you. Good luck!

I did a Dis Search and came up with this...

Ordered Cinderella's Glass Slipper Dessert for my granddaughters for our dinner at 1900 Park Fare in 3 weeks. I wasn't sure how far ahead to order this, but today worked fine. I left a message at 1900 Park Fare with all details including PS number, date and time and by the time I got home from work today they had returned my message that the desserts would be ready for our dinner ( and added to our bill of course).

I think the girls will be delighted. Ordered 2 of course. Even though they are 11 & 13, still check out what the other one got.

If anyone is interested in ordering, you can call 1900 Park Fare directly at 407-824-2978. I believe that any of the GF restaurants or catering can do this dessert. Cost is $14.00 each.

That is the tread I remembered seeing. I just could not find it. I knew if I asked you would all help out. :flower:
Thank you I will let you know if I am able to get it at the castle or not. May have to go pick it up.(which I am willing to do because it looks soooo good)

Oh, I don't know why I am on the Restaurant's Board in the middle of the night (I obviously need a midnight snack). Just saw this thread and thought I'd post a photo or two of the dessert: click here and click here. It is very yummy (and now my tummy is ~growling~).

When we ordered it last summer I called 1900 Park Fare directly and they took care of the slippers and also the dog bones. This year I want to try to get the mini castle cakes for the kids.

Dog bones and castle cakes?? Please tell me more!!!

Anyone know if you can still or were ever able to order the Mickey bombes? You know the little chocolate things that looked like Mickey ears?

Also, does anyone know if you can have any of these special desserts delivered to your room if you are staying at the GF?

Thanks!

Mini castle cakes were first shown on the Food Channel's Wedddings of a Lifetime. I believe they are 3 inch cakes shaped like the top of the castle. Now what about these Mickey bombes - I hadn't hear of them.

Thanks!

Well, I was at the GF over Valentine's Day for work last February and my wife surprised me by having a set of the "Tuxedo Chocolate Strawberries" delivered to my room. She said it took her over an hour to get through to the right people and everything, but it was definitely worth it. They had the valet watching for me to arrive (it was a 14-day business trip, so I got to know a lot of them). I got to my room and within 2 minutes, there was a knock on the door with the tray.

So, I would say, yes, you can have them delivered to your room.

Thanks, JXGRIFFI for the delivery info. What a sweet idea!
So, anyone know about the mickey bombes?
