Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

I am going to try and set up a PS for 9 people at Cindy's. Do they even take PS's for this many people, or should I split up?

If you get right throug at the 90 da mark you shouldn't have a problem with 9 people and yes you can all get a PS. They will just push together tables.

That's so wonderful PrincessParent......you were definately meant to get a PS for CRT.......when I read your post about getting ressies and you spoke to a CM named Pam I had to chuckle....take a guess what my name is!!!

Just tried calling for my PS for CRT this morning. Got a message that says "Due to Hurrican Charley, WDW has had to change their proceedures, and they cannot accept any dining/golf reservations at this time."

I know the message can change at any moment, and I do want the CM's to be safe, but...

(potential whine coming up) I WANT A PS FOR CRT!!!!!!

I guess I'll try later today. I've been to WDW 8 times and never done CRT and decided now's the time to try it. Even DH is excited for it.

Thsi is just my luck!!!

9:30 and still closed at the call center. I believe they are in Tampa not Orlando, and according to the weather channel the airport in Tampa is scheduled to be open at 12:00 noon. Fingers crossed.

The 90-day advance bookings for Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast, Princess Storybook Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare dinner have been suspended today. Bookings will resume tomorrow.

That would mean there are going to be twice the availability tomorrow. This may be our lucky day. I feel sorry for the poor CM's at the Castle today. They are probably getting slammed by phone calls. At least they are closing at 1 PM for safety reason.

Sat 7:16 am and the dining phone lines are still closed due to Charley. I guess we'll try again tomorrow,

So tomorrow, assuming they're open, there's going to be people calling for 11/11, 11/12, AND 11/13 PS's? My sympathy to those of you dealing with this.

Hmmm when I called this morning they were open just that there were likely to be hold ups on the lines due to the hurricane. I was put on hold...I didnt stay on the line as I had to be somewhere.

Called again this morning right at 7:00 am. Got the message about Hurricane Charley. (Yes CRO {Central Resservation Office} is located in Tampa.)

Called again this afternoon at 2:00 pm and got right through. I was so surprised that I was not prepared. CRT was booked already for 11/11 and 11/12.

I was able to get PSB for 11/11, but that is not really what I want. Will be trying back tomorrow for CRT.

Is this breakfast really worth all of this????? I hope so.

After all of the hurricane messages, I called this morning and got right through!!! The operator said I was her first call of the day, so I even got my choice of times for CRT!!!!

Whoooo Hooooooo!!! We are a party of 4 (all adults) who are very excited about this!!! I've been to WDW 8 times, plus I am a former cast member (2 different semesters as a CP), but I have yet to do this breakfast.

I already have my camera ready!!!

I too got my choice of times and i'm totally delighted. I apologised when I got through as I said very quickly that I wanted a reservation for Cindys...she said..thats allright..we get it all the time.Im not used to interrupting someone before they have finished speaking. I opted for 8:05 as I've never been in the park before opening time.
Thanks for all the help on this forum as without it I would never have got my ps. Good luck to everyone who is trying

Thanks to all your advice, I was able to get Cindy's this morning for 10 AM Nov 14. First Try!!!! My DD will be so happy. Great way to start a Monday. I kept hitting redial and when I got through was on hold for about 5 minutes. I thought I was going to be too late, but she quickly said "How about 10 o clock". I blurted out "I'll take it" I could have screamed, but I held it back until I got off the phone.

I scored!!!!

Thank for all of your advise. I was able to get thru with a 3 min wait on Sunday morning, and got an 8:30 PS for 8 people for the 13th, our last day in the parks. I can't wait to see the park before anyone is allowed in. A note about Saturday. I called at 7:00 and 7:10 and got the "We are closed due to Charley," but when I called back at 9:00, I was put on hold for about 30 mins. We I finally got thru both the 11th and 12th were already booked. Arghhhhh!!!

From what I was told by the Cast Member on the phone, Sunday is the best day to call. I can see why. A Sunday call would mean a Saturday PS, which is usually arrival/departure day for week long guest. Also, I would say that a lot of people do not know that the call center is open on Sunday, and who wants to get up that early on a Sunday.

Good luck to anyone still trying. See you at the world in November.

I have been dealing with the same issues with the CRO being closed. I was on hold Sunday for 4 minutes and thought I was out of luck, but we also got in on Saturday at 8:25! My daughter is sooo excited!

Isn't the DIS wonderful! We used the strategy posted here to get ressies for our trip this past November. In fact a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who posted - we couldn't have done it without you! We had tried for our 2 previous trips & were unsuccessful. I haven't thanked you all before, because I was just a 'lurker' at the time.

I hope you all love it as much as our family did. Even the boys want to go back. Wait till you taste the french toast! Plus we had ressies before the park opened & that was incredibly cool. Can't wait to do it again!!!
