Im looking to make an ADR a Cinderella's Royal Table on the night of our MVMCP - 7th December.

My problem is, is it a character meal in the evenings? I thought id read somewhere that it wasnt?

Im taking my future inlaws there for a meal and as they dont like disney  id rather just have a normal meal.

It took me long enought to persuade them to go to MVMCP ( There is going to be 26 of us in Florida and we are paying for everyone to go so i really wanted them there too!) I think a character meal may push them to far

Can anyone confirm this? as ive never been there?

Laura ~ it is a character meal. Here are the details:-

As of February 1, 2006, Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner
is a fixed-price, set meal, hosted by the Fairy Godmother,
who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

When you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation,
a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby,
before you are seated in the dining room.
A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo,
as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle,
in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax)
will be delivered to you during your meal,
which will be from a fixed-price, set menu.
(One photo package per party of 1-4;
two photo packages for parties of 5-8, etc.)

In addition, you will receive a special,
unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50),
given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

This is a Signature Dining Experience
which takes two Table Service credits when using the
Magic Your Way Dining Plan.

Perhaps with such a large group and given the fact that your inlaws are not 'Disney' people then somewhere like Ohanas, that can accommodate larger amounts of people, would be best.

You could always eat there first and then hop onto the monorail and go into the MK for MVMCP.

Hope this helps?

We had the lunch because we were told that Cinderella did not appear at the evening dinner. I have to admit, I was not very impressed. It was very expensive for what you got and the other "princesses" and the Fairy Godmother rushed around all the tables to get everybody in. The pasta was like rubber and the "Special Freshly Baked Dessert from the Royal Bakery" turned out to be a Muffin!

Unless you have very young children with you who will "appreciate" the princesses I would consider O'hanas as Minniespal has suggested.

Tora when did you go? we have a adr for 5th aug for bfast and we are v excited about it, id rather be prepared if its really that bad
thanks
tracy

I always go for Brekie and will be there later in August before there were not characters at lunch or dinner but I thought I recently read they do now come for all.

Sorry i didnt make myself very clear

Although i am paying for everybody to go to MVMCP they are all doing their own thing. For the meal there will only be 7 of us.

Originally i was going to book Ohana's but ive since decided to have a big welcome party for everybody and have booked Ohanas for that, a few nights before the wedding.

I really wanted a nice meal somewhere in the MK park if possible? Is there anywhere else that would be good?

I like liberty tree tavern and thats where we are eating one night before mnssh, but it does ook up fast before events

for the second party we are eating at chef mickey

cinderellas royal table evening meal used to be nice before they limited the menu so much

Liberty Tree Tavern is our favourite sit down restaurant in the MK. CRT, CP and Plaza are all lovely as well. Although Tony's is a beautiful restaurant the lunch we had there did nothing for me.
