Would anyone know why they're not taking reservations past 5:45 that whole week?

According to two different cms that I've talked to, they're not sitting at all after that time, and will stop serving at 6:40. Both that I talked to seemed perplexed and tried to find a reason, to no avail. Both felt it highly irregular especially since the parks are open late that whole week. I tried both under the 180+10 ADR call in on Monday morning (4am PST!) as well on the actual day of 180 days out today.

Any thoughts? Would it be worth it trying again later down the road if we want a later seating?

Although, good news, Sunday Feb 17 is already scheduled for a 2am EMH. Sweet.

MK may close early that night. My DH and I ate there the week before President's week in 2000 (I know a long time ago) and the park actually closed as early as 6:00 pm when we were there. We got the last seating for the night and it was wonderful to walk out after the park had closed. We have some great pics of Main Street and the Castle with no people around.

I would have guessed that too, but one of the nights the park is open until midnight, and the others 11pm.

It's just...odd.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. The last seating for Fantasmic at Mama Melrose in MGM is 4:30pm...I thought that was so odd...but she said that in February the show comes on at 7pm.
