Cinderella's Castle........

We will be in WDW May 24th, will they still be refurbishing the castle?

No. The castle has been finished for awhile.

Thanks Joanna71985. My SIL had a friend there 2 weeks ago, and they said you couldn't go through the castle. So, I'm glad to hear it's all done and ready to go. My 7 and 5 yo. DD's are soooo looking forward to seeing "Cinderella's" castle!!

When they are getting ready for Cinderellabration, they close off the castle so no one can go through it. I am sure it's closed a bit after the show as well ... and since I have seen it myself ... I will admit it looks like they are working on something in the castle. But most likely your friends saw it around the time of a show.

The castle passage way is open and the castle is not under anykind of restoration at this time. The passage way is off limits during cinderellabration, the parade, and during the fireworks. Maybe they were just trying to axcess the passage during the wrong time.

We were there in March and could not go through the castle due to the stage setup. We did go around back by the entrance to CRT but there was not a lot to see. Can you normally see more of the Castle? It was disappointing for the kids but they cheered up when we went upstair for dinner.

The only thing to see in the castle is the walkthrough tunnel (with the amazing murals) and the expensive gift shop. The only way to get to see the resturant is to have a reservation.
