Thanks for the helpful list of your "must-dos", etc. for DHS. I used to go to WDW all the time when I was younger, but haven't been in about 7 years. My DH has only been once, as a child, and is under the impression that we are going to do every attraction while we are there. Now I have a better idea of what we should definitely do and what we can save for next year!

Erica, you have some serious Karate moves! I love the shirt that you got for Ray, Dawn. Is that one that they carry all year or just during Star Wars weekends? Well, duh, I just answered my own question because you guys weren't there over Star Wars weekend!

i think they carry it all year. i first saw it on a pin and then i heard they had the shirt, so i had to get it for him! he wore it to work the first day after we got back.

yep, the singing in the rain umbrella is there, but we didn't think to get a picture with it. the line is ALMOST as fun as the ride for TSM! so fun!!!!

Hey, your little girl story on the Star Wars thing reminds me of a story a cast member was telling us at MK while we were there. We were chatting with him and he told us that earlier that day, a little boy from Canada, sorry Canada, smacked him right in the face and the parents did nothing! I just can't believe how some parents are at WDW. Seriously shocked at that one!

I can't believe how calm the two of you are on ToT. I'm TERRIFIED of that ride - I would be holding on for dear life!

And I just discovered that Backlot canteen on our last trip. Usually when I'm needing a "cold beverage", we head into the Tune In lounge. We stumbled upon the canteen in June when it had started to rain; hung out on the bar stools and until it stopped. It was a relaxing and uncrowded spot!

i scream like CRAZY on ToT, but i love every second of it. it's so funny - every time i ride it, just before we drop i start saying, "i hate this ride, i hate this ride." but that's what makes it so great!

yeah, the backlot canteen is a great find!

i doubt you'd have room for him to sit in front of you just because of where the gun is. but i'm sure he could sit in between you guys. i may be wrong though - there might be enough room for him to sit in your lap. i'm not on my computer right now (borrowing one from the clerk's office in the courthouse) so i can't look at the pics i took of the ride vehicles. i'll try to remember to get back to you though.

yeah, it's impossible to do EVERYTHING at WDW in one trip, even if you stay for 2 weeks! i've been 4 times in the last 18 months and i still have stuff i haven't done! hope my little list helps you guys out!

I don't know if that would work or not. The bar/gun pulls down but with the bar in front of the gun it comes down pretty far. Not sure about that one wonder if there is someone you can call

i went back and found a halfway decent shot of the thing you sit in. you can see there's a bar there. i'm pretty sure the bar goes all the way across, so he may HAVE to sit in the middle.

thanks for all the pictures and help, a few people told me that the ride does have some fast turns, so i am not sure if i want to take himon it and get whipped around.

we will see when we get there, and how strong he is, maybe i will just do a rider switch, or not ride it at all.

I agree. We only spent a little bit of time in the museum but were impressed with what we saw. Judging from your pics, there are quite a few things we didn't get to see (must go back).
