We went to tomorrow land to get the wonderful cheese, jalapeno stuffed pretzel which they don't have there any more ...I have heard they moved it to DHS, but if ANYONE knows where this went please let me know!!

They have them at Animal Kingdom. We were there a couple of weeks ago and my wife got one at a stand in Asia -- way back by the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

Dawn and I decided to do our last installment together , she is writing in teal and I am of course in pink! Hope you guys enjoy....

after i got off my last ride on BTMRR and erica was done with her last two rides on HM (along with the illegal photos! ), MK was officially closed and it was time for us to go.

i was actually okay because i knew i'd be back in 3 months for our december trip. erica was very sad because she didn't know when she'd be back. but now we know she's going back in november for her birthday trip so it's not so sad to be writing this!!!


YES!!! And I am SO excited I will be going back this Christmas, and for my birthday. I've been to WDW several times but never celebrated my birthday there!!

It will be another girls trip for me but a very different one with a 4 yr old and 11mo. old ...but seriously I am very excited and looking forward to it!! And maybe will give me a small taste of how fun it can be seeing the trip from a child eyes

ray and i have made it a tradition to take pictures with the statues on the hub before we leave MK, so erica and i decided to do it, too!

we decided to pose like the statues we were standing beside.

I am actually holding a backsack like BrerRabbit does!!

The best of friends.....and some friends that we saw ALL WEEK LONG!!!!

i think after i took the one above, someone walked up and asked if we both wanted to be in the picture, so i jumped in too.

and this one is my FAVORITE! i didn't think of it at the time but i totally should have jumped in and stood on my knees (to match mickey's height) and held erica's hand to pose like mickey! - that would have been HILARIOUS!!

erica took several pictures as we were heading back to the poly on the monorail......

saying goodbye to the train station and the castle for the last time this trip!

one of my favorites! - this better be back up and running in Dec!!

when we got back to pop i had some leftover pistachio baklava from the night before (at epcot) and i had a little snack.....yum! It was VERY yum!!

the next morning we got up and got packed and ready to go. the plan was to check out and hit DTD before we left for a few things.

i decided to walk over to bell services to get a cart for our luggage, plus i had to turn in the fridge and coffee maker for the next swapper anyway. it was SO hot that day - i was soaking wet with sweat by the time i got back to the room!

we loaded up the cart and then loaded up the car. i didn't want to walk all the way back across the resort in the heat to return the cart so i decided to ride in the back of erica's car, with the back hood up, while rolling the cart behind the car. you should have seen us....it was hilarious! i wish i could've gotten a picture or video of that! I'm sure there were some peeps that thought it was very interesting!

after that we headed to DTD for some shopping! i don't remember what all we got but i know i got a brown mickey t-shirt and a mickey reindeer antenna topper (for christmas). i'm sure there was more stuff but i don't remember! I know I got a REALLY cool travel mug with the castle on it ! oh, and most importantly we got these from goofy's!

that was actually taken on my kitchen counter after we got home. the one on the left is for me and the one on the right is for ray. i don't remember what erica got! TALK ABOUT YUM!!!!! I can't WAIT to use my extra snack credits there in December! I got a rice crispy treat and pretzel sticks dipped in all kinds of things...AWESOME!!

we were gonna get lunch at earl of sandwich but the line was ridiculous, so we just decided to hit the road instead and get something later. i think we stopped at a burger king somewhere.

the ride home went smoothly and pretty soon we were back at my house in georgia! erica spent the night before she drove the rest of the way back to nashville. that night is when we discovered we were missing some pics of the halloween party......such a BUMMER!

back to the real world it was for us, but i'm SOOOOOOOOOO glad we got to go on this trip! i had such a blast with erica and i hope we get to do it again one day! who knows......maybe in a couple years she and i can take our little ones together and leave our hubbies at home again! (and no, i'm not pregnant! - and I'm not pregnant either) - But with that said it would be SO much fun to do another girl's trip with little ones , and maybe one day we could actually do a trip with the 4, or 5, or 6 of us , or even if we do have little ones, once they get older, leave them with the hubby's and do a well needed girls trip alone!!

SO sorry guys this took almost a YEAR to finish!! It's ridiculous and is my fault. Dawn has already written another TR and a side trip TR. Honestly I don't think this writing thing is for me. I LOVE reading everyone's trip reports but I get bored with my own as I write them. But I hope you have enjoyed the ride, and sorry for making you hang out for SOOOOOOOOO LONG!!!!!
