Alright....so here goes

I got to Dawn's house about 4p we went to a cute little Mexican restaurant close to her house and then hit the road. We decided to eat first b/c then we would miss most of Atlanta's rush hour traffic and it worked it was great. We zoomed through town and were on our way.....

We got to our ok but definitely not Disney hotel room about 12:30am

But we didn't care we were TIRED!!!

It was cheap and a good place just to rest our heads before a fun time in the World!!

Here's a pic we snapped on our way out the parking lot

Wet and Wild is in their backdoor.

We saw a Disney cruise line bus and took a pics for those of us that want to go on the cruise

maybe I will be on this bus one day!

And after our long 4-5 mile ride.....

WE'RE HERE!!!!

Now one of my main complaints about Disney property. The signs! I do not think they do a very good job getting you to where you need to be. Maybe it's just Pop but it is NOT listed until the very last minute! If you don't really know what end it's on your going to be looking for awhile

But we (really Dawn) did a good job.....

We had a few people in front of us but we did the hustle while we were waiting

I think we checked in around 10:30a and our room was READY!!!

We were both hungry so we headed to the food court to eat an early lunch.

Thanks to Dawn we have food porn pics. I told her I would never remember to do it if it were up to me!
She had a hamburger and fries and I had a cheese steak wrap with (my fave ) FRIES!!

We both got fruit for a snack/dessert put them in the fridge to eat later in the week and never did Oh also the fruit juices are for breakfast later in the week. We both got mugs so we had coke to drink

Here's some pics of our READY room!! We were in the 90's section. Not where we had requested and I don't even think they had our request actually but it was good. We are both 90's girls. I have never been to Pop. I LOVE IT!! It's a great value resort and might just be the next place I stay again!

I agree with you, POP was not well marked at all on the road signs. I just always followed the signs for Hollywood Studios or Downtown Disney depending on what direction I was coming from.

We headed straight for the new Toy Story ride!!!

Picked up fast passes and headed in the line to wait. I think it was only about a 30min wait. Not bad for a brand new and AWESOME ride!!!

One of my fave games as a child...Chutes and Ladders

Not only is the ride fun the line is too. I love the HUGE crayons

I was so sad....our computers didn't work to compute our scores

But I took this picture while waiting and I know one of these scores are mine!

So that means I beat Dawn

Next we went to One Man's Dream. If I've done this before it's been a LOOOOONG time ago!

All the models were so cool!

Great photo of the streetmosphere at DHS! I'm so disappointed I wasn't able to ride the Toy Story ride while I was there. I guess I need to plan another trip back.

This was my last check-in of the evening, and I get a tree all of my own. Maybe now I will go to sleep and dream of sitting under a palm tree at Pop.... nightie-night!

P.S. I'm glad you liked Pop Century. That Nineties picture shows all those movies my kids watched a million times over.

We're off to a good start! I guess Dawn's still sleeping, which is good, since we don't want her falling asleep in the middle of a deposition!

Agree I figured this out pretty quickly. I'm just glad I'm not the only one....makes me feel like I'm not quite as crazy

I did really enjoy it!! I think Matt and I might stay there when we go back unless I can swing a Wilderness Lodge (b/c it will be at christmas) stay or DVC points!

Great start. I agree with the signs too. When we drove down there a couple of years ago we had a hard time leaving which could of have been a good thing. We actually were going to DTD and then home but had a found it difficult for directions to DTD from POR but we did and did some nice shopping. Can't wait for more.

First of all - Wet n' Wild? That bought back memories! We went there back in the 70s when I travelled to Orlando with my basketball team for tournaments. Of course, these days, I don't ever set foot off of Disney property!
