Couple of questions concerning CRT???? How many days are you allowed to book it for lunch and/or dinner (not interested in the breakfast)?? Do you have to wait 180 days, 90 or can you do it a year in advance?

Is it hard to get lunch and dinner..I thought i read somewhere breakfast is the most difficult time to get for CRT...

Just curious this upcoming may will be my third trip to the world in a year and half and i havent had or wanted to eat at the castle until now. I am going with 5 female adults do you think it will be 2 kiddie for us?

any tips or facts would be great thanks

it's 180 days as with most other ADRs.

breakfast and lunch are hardest (but at 180 days out it shouldn't even be much of an issue). dinner is easier because it's not a princess meal.

Lunch is now as hard to book as breakfast (due to it being made a full character meal like breakfast).

about 90 days out for a July vacation. This year a for June trip we added CRT to our restaurant list about 100-120 days out and were able to get a ressie.

One recommendation I would make if you are booking well in advance is to book close to noon and ask for a window seat when you check in. This year we had a 12:25 ressie and the last window table had just been filled.

What would be considered an optimal time for breakfast? I'm not even sure what time they open? I really like the idea of walking down Main Street all by ourselves...

We ate at Cinderella's castel in Feb 2001 and it was wonderful but due to an eye illness, I missed being able to see very much. I remember it is not very big and I really want to see all the characters wondering around the room. What a neat picture that would make.

At that time, it was wonderful food and the characters either played to the adult side or the kid side, depending on who was at the table.

I am going to try and book breakfast for our March 2008 trip.

you'll never be truly by yourself on main street.. although you can come close.. closer than CRT anyway... but they start serving at 8:05 am.

We ate breakfast there in Jan 2007 - we were able to book an 8:10am seating 179 days out (I forgot to call at 180).

We at dinner there the other night (5:30pm) and I booked that 45 days out. At 45 days out, I asked for availability for any meal on a choice of 3 days - my options were a 2:00pm -ish lunch one day and the 5:30PM dinner (I think the dinner must have been a cancellation).

In Jan 2007, we were looking for a place to eat one stormy night and CRT had same day dinner availability at 7:00pm (we declined, but it was available).

I don't think it is "babyish". Dinner is just Cinderella in the lobby. The fairy godmother and 2 girl mice circulate during dinner.

If you want to enter MK at 8:00am on a 9:00am opening time, try Crystal Palace for breakfast if you are not able to get in at the castle. It worked for us!

#1 I don't think it's EVER too kiddie to dine at CRT. We are all princesses at heart right? LOL We are actually doing it for thie first time this year. (FINALLY talked my DH into it and DS will be 5 so I need to do it before he gets to "old" for it!) We were not interested in Breakfast either but did want the experience of the princesses so I booked lunch for us. I booked a little under the 180 day mark but had no trouble getting ressies.

Have a great trip!!

CRT used to be much harder to get. Then they turned CRT into a package, and a very expensive package at that (IMHO). ($31.99 for breakfast is pretty pricey)

While CRT is still a desirable ADR, it has gotten easier than in the past. And if it is something you have always wanted to do, you should do it!:thumbsup2

If you know what day you want to go, make your ADR's at the 180 day mark. It does require a credit card guarantee.

Here is a link to the Dis menu's and pricing.

it actually requires payment in full at time of booking, unless on the DDP - in that case it requires just the guarantee. it's handled exactly like a dinner show.

I was able to book today for 180+ 10 for 11 8:20am! Whew! I've not been so interested before, but the people we are traveling with had their hearts set on it!

However, because the DDE card restaurants have not yet been listed for 2008 (officially), they had to charge me full price. Then, if CRT is still under DDE, I can ask for a refund. Has anyone ever done this before? Successfully? With 11 people, the CRT breakfast alone will cover the cost of my DDE card, but I am wondering how this whole refund thing will work...

what happens is you'll get the discount at the restaurant in the form of a gift card.

Just an FYI, if you are doing Free Dine then they only need a CC to hold but will not charge you a head of time.

We like to go at lunch!! But I think any time you go would be great Fun!1
