Churro info please

I remember in Disney Land there were lots of Churro stands - does anyone know if there churros are sold in Disney World - if so, are they counted as a snack on DDP?

In Mexico there is the Cantina that sells Churro's. We had them as our dessert on the dining plan last September.

I got one at a stand at AK near the safari. Probably would qualify as a snack, I think it was $2.29.
