I am going to try and crank out a lot of this TR tonight, because as soon as the work week starts, it’s gonna get a lot harder to do it on a regular basis! So let’s hope I can at least finish day 1 today! Here goes:
Day 1 Part 4:We love us some Adventure…
On our way to Adventure land, we passed by the notorious Tomorrowland Noodle Station which has never been open as far as I can remember, or at least during any of our visits. LOL

We passed by the castle again so I couldn’t resist these pictures as well:

We finally got to Adventureland! Woohoo!

And of course, we pass by my most beloved snack, the Dole Whip over at Aloha Isle. I really think I was Hawaiian or Polynesian in a past life because I love anything pineapple, or Hawaiian-inspired. So of course we stop to use yet another snack credit, and all this before noon. Ack, 3 snacks in one day! I’m gonna have to slow down or else we’d run out of credits by day 3. LOL.
We decided on a Dole Whip float so as to satisfy both our thirst and craving for dole whip! Yum, this picture totally makes me want one. Right. Now.

So our plan of attack was to FP BMTRR, ride Jungle Cruise, HM, and PoC and at some point, have lunch at Columbia Harbor House. We were going to skip splash since I didn’t want to risk getting soaked. So we decided to walk all the way to BMTRR and then work our way back from there. On the way, we passed by the camel that decides to spray random unsuspecting people with water. DH stood and taunted the camel until, of course, he gets sprayed. He might as well have rode Splash Mtn at that point since he was half wet already.

When we got to BMTRR, we realized the wait was only 15 minutes. So we decided to get FP as well as stand-by, so we got to ride BMTRR right then!
Here are some pics from the ride. I used a point and shoot this time around, since I was scared my dslr would fly off my hand. I got the courage to do it on our last day, but you’ll have to wait for those pics. J
Each time I rode BMTRR, I switched sides so some pics are from my left and some from my right. I find it easier to take pics from my left since the shutter is more convenient when the camera is pointed at us. These pics depict the both times we went on the ride.

I have no idea why I made a face at the end of the ride, but I guess I just wanted to make a face. Note to self: Do no make unflattering faces for pictures anymore.
After doing BMTRR, we decided to head back to Liberty square to eat our CHH as well as ride Haunted Mansion. At CHH, we decide to split a QS meal, settling for the combo with chicken fingers, fish, fries, with a diet coke and apple pie dessert

Everything was tasty and good just as we remembered from last year. The fish was slightly over-done but I wasn’t complaining as it was still nice and hot and crispy.
We passed Liberty Tree Tavern and this cute CM was waving to everyone with her Mickey glove, just for fun. She was so adorable. She really seemed to be having a great time despite the heat. I waved to her and she waved back.

Some pics from the walk over to CHH and HM

We didn’t do Tom Sawyer Island on this trip but we have visited it before.
Stay tuned for a very special post coming up…
