Planning ahead here, but I've run out of things to plan, so I'm moving forward. :earboy2: We plan to buy our APs around august or september (whenever my husband's bonus comes in.) We live in AZ, so our trips will still need a little planning. When is the best time , meaning the lowest crowd time, to do Disney with all the Christmas decorations? Does it still snow on Main Street every night? We haven't been to DL at Christmas since we had APs 11 years ago. My kids are so excited! We home school, so thankfully we can go whenever we want!

A year ago, I would've said November is the best time. But it was pretty busy last time we were there. Of course, that was with the opening of the Season of the Force, so that may have messed with the numbers a bit. I haven't tried December (though we're trying it out this year), but I'm hearing it's become busy, even during the first few weeks. Someone should come along soon to confirm or deny this.

We went 3rd week of Dec last year & I found it slightly less busy than late May/ early June (summer season). Everything was out for Christmas and the hours were great, DL closed at like 11pm. I would go that week again in a heartbeat. Idk the other holiday weeks. You will have a wonderful time, it was our first time seeing DL at Christmas and it was truely magical!

We'll be getting our APs at Christmastime. From the research I've done, we decided to go the first week of December. It seems like a safe bet for lower crowds.

This is what I was thinking....Schools will still be in session, so it should be lighter. Christmas is my favorite time of year there! I'm so excited to take my kids to experience it!

Hope you have a great trip! We've actually never been during Christmastime so I am super excited. Yay for annual passes!

We went December 7th-12th in 2013 and it wasn’t bad at all, headed back the 10th-15th this year. Hope it’s not too bad.. but whatever the case there is nothing like Christmastime at Disney!
