We have booked our trip for Dec 7-13!! Woohooo!!!:woohoo:
It will be my son's first trip to see the mouse and the first time my hubby and I have been there since the 80's. Ds will be 7 when we travel and we want it to be a really fantastic trip for him. We booked a courtyard view bunkbed room at the WL. Can anyone tell me about the Christmas decor or post pic's of it? Does the lodge have any special Christmas activities?
Thank you!!!!

We were at WL in Dec. '05 and I have to say the Christmas decor there is spectacular! The Christmas tree in the hotel lobby will take your breath away! We went around to a lot of other resorts during our stay and there was something about walking into the lobby and being greeted by such a massive Christmas tree that gives you goose bumps and makes you a little teary! They also had live caroling during most afternoons which was nice to sit in a rocking chair and listen to. You made a good choice, enjoy!:)

We were just there last month and it was great! Every afternoon they had different groups in - choirs, a handbell chorus, etc. - for afternoon entertainment. It is beautiful and so huge! You will love it. :flower3:

i like WL for winter b/c you feel like you are at a nice warm lodge. the tree is pretty, and we saw the handbells when we were eating at WCC this past december.

Im staying at the AKL the same exact time... I would rather be at the WL but all booked out.. Im still going to keep trying!!
