Hi All

When do the Christams decorations go up? We're thinking about coming down the first or second week of November and we really want the grandchildren to see all the Holiday decorations

They start around first week of Nov and go full out by Thanksgiving. Usually coincides with the MVMCP.

It is a "wonderful time of the year" at The Fort. Enjoy !

The later the better. The MVMCP started Nov 8 last year.

We were there for Halloween this past year, on Nov 1st the Halloween decorations came down and by Nov. 2nd the Christmas decorations were starting to go up! I think you will get a good show any time after during the 15th.

We were at the fort last year on my birthday (November 19), and all the decorations weren't complete then. Probably 90%. Parked beside Jeannie and across the street from Hilda. I think all the "big" decorators try to have them completed by Thanksgiving.

We were there the day or two after Thanksgiving and took the carriage tour to see the lights. There were a lot up, but according to our guide, there was still many to go up from that time on. But we really enjoyed the carriage and asked specifically to tour the campsite areas with lights.
