I know flying the week between Christmas & New Year's is very expensive. Is now the best time to book my airfare or will rates drop at all before they go back up? Have to fly down for a soccer tournament and of course have to add on a few days at Disney.

We're flying from Denver to Baltimore during Christmas week and we purchased our SW tickets weeks ago. Over the two weeks we were looking at different airlines for that time it seemed that seats were disappearing for the dates we wanted. We normally fly United or Delta but SW was $1,000 cheaper for the family. But remember, that seats are sometimes released as time passes.

I can't remember the site but there is at least one website that shows ticket prices history.

For a peak travel period like that week the chances that flight prices will go down are slim to none. In all likelihood prices were the lowest the day they came out and only will go up from there.
