Cast Members: Amanda (25) – loves Disney – rollercoaster fanatic
Brian (26) – loves Disney – hates roller coasters
Susan (30-ish) – Disney Fanatic – dislikes hills 
Eric (30-ish) – loves Disney – daredevil – has jumped out of perfectly good airplanes.

Susan and Eric had their keys to the kingdom tour today so they had a very early start while DH and I slept in till about 9a.m. I got up first and proceeded to walk around the French Quarter. I fell in love with this resort – I wish we had a water view of the lake but I also know we hardly spent any time in the room so the money would have been wasted. I got back up to the room with filled soda cups and beignets – YUMMY! These are awesome! After breakfast we showered and dressed and headed to the Magic Kingdom. We got their about 11:15 – and waited 20 minutes for Guest Services to get our annual passes. Then we waited another 20 minutes to get through security and into the park. I am not a patient person and evidently must have been in a not so Disney mood because eventually DH told me to chill out.
Entering the park – HOW AWESOME! The park is so cute all decorated for the holidays. You can’t even describe – it is like the daily Disney magic times 10!! We proceed to Casey’s to grab some hot dogs and fries since DH is already hungry. We love Casey’s and try to eat here multiple times on the trip (are you picking up a theme here?)

After Casey’s I head straight to tomorrow land and get in line for Space Mountain which posted a 20 minute wait – it was only 10. I love Space Mountain. DH of course was not thrilled that the first ride I picked was a rollercoaster, but he went on it anyway and as usual enjoyed it. He just psyches himself out to much while waiting in line.

To make it up to him we headed to Phillarmagic but then stopped to watch a Sword in the Stone ceremony. This is the first time we had ever caught this and thought it was really cute. That kiddo was so excited to be King. Phillarmagic is of course magical! And we love watching it. After that we hit Haunted Mansion – no creepy thin men this time for me to slam against a wall. And then Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It is about 2pm – the neighbor’s tour is over so we met over by Dumbo to grab some refreshments and sit down a bit. They tour sounds really great and now DH wants to do it – guess I’ll have to plan another trip.

We proceed back to Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Haunted mansion again (did you know there are 5 hidden Mickey’s in the haunted mansion – and we found them all!) Then Eric, Brian, and I headed to Splash Mountain while Susan went to check in at Tony’s. We are just getting off Splash when the cell phone rings, “Um, they just announced us at Tony’s.” I tell ya we never got through the park so fast in our lives. I was behind Eric screaming directions – “RIGHT!” “LEFT” “GO THROUGH THAT GROUP” I think we may have trampled some small children – but I’m sure they were fine.

Tony’s – I could have skipped. Blah.

After Tony’s we headed back to do Peter Pan, Dumbo, Snow White’s Scary Adventure, and Phillarmagic again. We ran over to Pirates of the Caribbean and then to Aloha Isle for my only Dole Whip of the trip. A moment of silence please………………………………………okay – I’m better now. Right as we hit the bridge from Adventure Land back to Main Street the sky erupted with Wishes. I love this show! So we watched from their which wasn’t the perfect spot but you got the general idea. When it was done we sat outside some benches by the Crystal Palace and watched the parents go by. We had a great time trying to figure out which kids had naps (happy smiling children) and which ones didn’t (unhappy or sleeping children). Suddenly Eric announces he has never eaten at Casey’s. Since none of really liked our dinner at Tony’s Casey’s sounded like a great idea – so we headed there – got orders and sat outside watching the crowds. The park closed at 8pm it is now 9pm and we are up at the castle taking pictures with no one in the park – it was awesome! We stayed for the Kiss goodnight and then headed back to the resorts. It was a perfect Disney day.

Darn! Now I want a hotdog (and it's only 10:15 AM!)

Casey's sounds good to me too!!

:goodvibes

Me three!! We love Casey's!!

I'm glad to hear that the small children survived your rush to Tony's! :teeth: We've never eaten there - nothing on the menu really piqued our interest. Now the Plaza Restaurant - there's a hidden gem in the MK!

WISHES! Just the mention of it brings back fond memories of the first time we saw it.....standing on Main Street, in front of Casey's, with a very friendly couple we'd just met.....truly a wonderful time! Can anyone guess who that couple was??? Yep, Amanda & Brian! We met them last February and can't wait to spend more time with them in a few weeks!

Oh, and a meal at Casey's isn't really complete until you stroll across the street to the ice cream parlor for dessert! :p

More, more, more!!! Oh and how can I access those pictures???
