Christmas time ????s

We are thinking about going to FW over Christmas and have a few questions. Does anyone decorate? If so, with what? What is the weather like? Any info would be great.

Oh, honey, do they ever decorate! Lots of lights, light-up decorations, large inflatibles, huge wreaths from the trees, decorated golf carts, you name it!! It was just gorgeous last year!!! The weather can be a bit iffy--80 one day and brrr the next. You'll have fun!!

One word comes to mind - FAB-U-LOUS!! The campsites are all so beautiful. We were there last Dec. and when it was nice, it was beautiful...but when it was bad, it was horrible!! There was an unusual weather pattern last year and Dec., which is normally the DRY month received 10" of rain the week we were there. We are going back next Dec and I am praying it IS a dry month!!

The campground is beautiful at that time of year. We went last year not knowing what to expect. We were in awe of some of the campsites!

People really go all out in decorating. Most were beautiful, but some were a bit on the tacky side (JMHO). There was one campsite in our loop and they had 3 of the inflatable figures on and around their camper. They also had motion sensored lights/music. It was something else.

Make sure you bring your camera and camcorder!
