Christmas song title question... HELP!

I heard this beautiful song on the way in to work today, and it just was stunning.

I don't think I had heard it before.. or at least this rendition.

It starts off with about a four/five note piano intro.. then strings, then cello (Im guessing)

Then a two /three part harmony..

The chorus I got was On this night On this night, on this merry christmas night... (and a harmony on top of it)

It was sung by a very well trained childrens choir (maybe boys choir?)...

Any ideas?

No, it was just a regular Christmas song on a non country station...

There is a Christmas CD out by Sam Harris called On This Night and that is also one of the tracks on the CD. I don't know if it is the same song you heard.

I'm thinking maybe a boy choir sings it, since it had very heavy instrumental.

I'm not sure what it's called either although I also think it's very nice. Every once in a while this station will announce what they're playing. Maybe it's on their website?

I'm enjoying this station's Christmas Carols 24 hours a day. I think it's a pretty neat idea.

It is a beautiful song.

As an FYI, the tune is Pachabel's Canon in D. My mom had it as her wedding march at her wedding, and DW and I had it also. It's beautiful when played on a harpsichord.
