Hi guys,
I need some help with a Christmas present I am making for my mom. She has recipes all over the place, in binders, cookbooks, the computer, etc.
I want to collect all her favorite, most sentimental recipes and make somekind of book out of them. How can I go about doing this? Maybe a binder that has been deorated and filled with page protectors?

any other ideas? please help!!! :Pinkbounc

someone else was doing this not too long ago...You could decorate a binder or just pick up a nice scrapbook then I would organize them how you want...I like to keep the original recipe intact...usually with the picture so I mount mine on card stock then place in a sheet protector.

I know there is a thread somewhere someone else used photo sleeve protectors and put all the recipes in there...

What a nice gift! Good luck!

I had a thread on this subject as well and found exactly what I was looking for in the Lang Store at a mall in our area. I don't know if Lang Stores are national or not but here's a link to their website. I bought one and bought coordinating recipe cards as well as 4 packs of refills. I thought that would be a good start for my recipes. The quality of the albums is REALLY good - the one I picked matched my kitchen and it looks so nice I'm planning to just leave it out on the counter for easy access. :teeth:

I have three binders with decorated fronts and spine. The pages are in page protectors, thank goodness!!! What a great project! Your Mom will appreciate it so much!
