Which do you think is better, the Christmas parade at Animal Kingdom or the one at MGM? I have a 2 year old dd. Which would you pick if you could only fit in one of them?

I'd lean toward the one at MGM for a 2 yo -- easier to see the characters, as I recall. Some of the AK floats are pretty tall, and the ones at MGM are lower, and there are more "walkers." (At least that's what I remember from last year).

We saw them both last year and they were both wonderful. I think the MGM parade might have more characters that your 2-year-old might recognize if they're familiar with any of the movies like Toy Story, Monsters Inc., etc. But I think you will like whichever parade you get to see.

If your child likes characters, go see MGM's. But the AK parade is SO much better. The floats are BEAUTIFUL!! and VERY colorful so your child might like that. There are lots of characters is AK's too. And the music for Jammin' Jungle Parade is really catchy.

I hadn't gone to the AK holiday parade, hadn't even done their regular everyday parade before. Then, we were there at just the right time, so hung around to check it out. Their holiday parade was incredible. I was so glad we had gone. I've been to MGM's everyday parade several times but have yet to see the Christmas one. I'm not that crazy about the regular one. Perhaps this Dec I'll try to fit all the special parades in.
But, I would try to see AK's Christmas parade..it is just beautiful.

I've seen them both and they are both cool. Either one, you can't go wrong.

Go to which ever one works into your schedule better. My dds are 6 and 9 and love them both. If I asked them they would say AK is there favorite. But I have to agree a 2 yr old will recognize more character at MGM. It has all the "new" kid characters.

I still can't decide. My dd loves music and the she loves Toy Story and Mickey and Minnie (she sleeps with Mickey every night). I wish I could do both. May I can, but I would have to give up nap time one day. I guess we'll have to wing it!
