I read at mousesavers that the Christmas parade and snow on main street would be during regular hours after MVMCP ended which is the 22nd. They don't show the Christmas parade starting until the 24th. Several postings said that it's really not worth the money, so we weren't going to do it. Now I'm thinking maybe I should. We're leaving on the 24th, so we'll miss it. Is it possible that it's a mistake that it's not on the schedule for the 23rd?

I have not noticed "snow" on Main Street except at MVMCP. Went once and was not that thrilled. Park was packed. As far as the parade, I believe they change the regular afternoon parade to the Christmas one earlier in the month, but could be mistaken. It's a cute parade, but I don't think I'd pay $$ to see it. You can also view the party fireworks for free at the beach of the Polynesian. Also, it "snows" at the Osbourne Lights at MGM Studios.

There was "snow" on Main Street during the week before Christmas last year (after MVMCP ended). It wasn't as impressive as the "snow" at MGM. Even there, it's just a very, very light flurry effect.
