Christmas movie inplace of a Christmas letter

Has anyone done this? We did this last year, but my DH wants a new program, so I figure I would ask my favorite group of people for advice.



Last year we made a DVD and sent it out along with our Christmas card instead of writing a letter to let everyone know what and how our family did/ is. It was rather cool if I say so myself. We started with the Christmas before and put picture and video clips to music. We showed the DD’s through out the year, our house and what changes we made, my reserve job and my DH job. We also added in our vacation to DC and Arlington National Cemetery. It was about a 25 minute video, most people said they liked it.



So here is the problem, we used Pinnacle studio vs. 9 last year and DH wants to use a different on this year. I don’t know much about these types of programs (a former friend total use about Pinnacle) and I was just wondering if anyone has done this and what program was used.

what a great idea!

our school did a video yearbook the last couple of years and i love it so much more than the standard (just gathers dust in the garage).

i can see sitting back after the holidays and realy enjoying something like this.
