Leaving on Christmas Day and looking for a nice breakfast. OHana was available so I grabbed it figured it would be fun. Now looking at the menu and my wife, due to her allergies, will probably just ask for egg whites and fruit so thinking the cost definitely not worth it But then Chip and Dale for Christmas could be priceless.
Boma A little more reasonable but no characters and Trattoria al Forna I have heard is excellent and they have more options for my wife but feel like no ambiance for Christmas Day.
Staying at VGF so was also looking at going to another hotel for breakfast to see the decoractions.
Any thoughts input etc

Ohana would not have Chip and Dale. It’s Lilio, Stich, Mickey and Pluto.

Garden Grill in Epcot is only one with Chip & Dale.

Boma! We have done Thanksgiving breakfast there. I have family members with food allergies and a chef walks the buffet with them to show what they can have and then makes things in the back. Another idea that is near you is Whispering Canyon Cafe they have a skillet and an a la carte menu and if interested in the skillet can work with you if you need to switch items.

I would hesitate going anywhere that requires driving on Christmas day (even using Disney transportation). I think you are right that 'Ohana may not be worth it given your wife's allergies. I would consider Kona, GF Cafe (if you don't mind staying at GF), Steakhouse 71 or even taking the MK-WL boat over to WL for Whispering Canyon.

Yes we canceled Ohana. Doin GF cafe one day for dinner before a party so want to look elsewhere. Kona and Steakhouse and whispering canyon good suggestions thanks

We stayed at The Yacht Club last year and had breakfast a couple mornings at Ale & Compass. It was a really good breakfast for a very reasonable price. No characters, of course, but you could then check out the holiday decorations there and at Beach Club next door.
