We're planning on spending Christmas at FW this year.

We have 3 children and I was wondering how those who have been at FW on Christmas morning have handled this. We're planning on having a "family Christmas" before we leave so the only gifts we're bringing are the "Santa" ones. Would it be safe to leave them in the screenhouse overnight? If not, any other ideas on how to keep the magic of Santa while at FW?

Thanks in advance.

I would imagine Santa gifts would be fine in the screenhouse. When we spent Christmas morning in the cabins we found a special candy treat too. If you are there Christmas eve, special characters might visit the tree by Pioneer Hall. Ask the CMs when you check in. Also MK and the snow on Main Street really put me in the Christmas mood last 12/24.

We've done almost every Christmas for the last 10 years at FW with 3 kids. I am sure your gifts will be okay. We have even left ours out under the Christmas tree on our picnic table before ..... no problems. In all of our 20+ trips to FW we have never had a problem with anything that we have left out at our site. I'm sure if you plan everything ahead of time, your Christmas morning will go off without a hitch!

Thanks so much for the replies. We're really looking forward to this trip.

Our last trip at Christmastime was 2 years ago and we had to leave FW on Christmas Eve to go to SIL's house. This year I really want to wake up with the kids at FW!

welovemickey,

We will be coming the day after Christmas with our 5 youngest. They are still kind of young and with so many, "Santa" could not fit everything into his sleigh (they are dd 3, dd 5, dd7, ds8 and dd 9). I can't wait for the day when we can wake up Christmas morning at FW! Maybe we will see you there. We are staying until Jan 2. Going to try and bring in the new year at the MK and hoping the park is not shut down due to capacity limits. Enjoy your holiday at FW!!!
