Christmas Luau?

I've decided to book the Poly for our Xmas trip this year. I'm thinking about doing the Luau, but I'm alittle worried about the weather. Has anyone been there in December? My daughter's birthday is Christmas and I thought it might be something special for her. But I don't know how much fun we'd have freezing while we were eating.
