I'm almost done with my summer work that needs to be done before the trip, so it's really becoming real to me. It seemed like I couldn't possibly be going to Disney when I had to do all this work, but now that it's almost done...the trip's almost here.
It has become apparent that I'm going to get REALLY tan REALLY fast when I'm there. We've only gone to the beach once; we were going to go today, but the heat's been dangerous. Like people had literal burns on their feet from the sand. So we decided to save ourselves and do what every New Jersey citizen does best--go to a mall. Of course there will be a stop in the Disney Store.
My extra battery came for my camera, I put all my pins on the strap on my bag (love that bag!), and put all little necessities in it that I know I'll lose.
There's not that much left to do. THAT MEANS I NEED TO GO RIGHT NOWWWWW.
OH I put in my request for WL. I asked for near Roaring Forks...which is TECHNICALLY near all the lovely Courtyard Views...but we have Standard View. I mean, the SV aren't bad near Roaring Forks, but a CV...oh they're so niiiiice.
OH WELL whatever we get, we'll be at THE BEST PLACE ON THE PLANET. And, let's face it, that's all that matters.

I'd probably have your mind set about summer work, but I had deadlines for essays and such, and my AP chem and one AP english essay is due like two days after I come back, so that wouldn't work. Also I'm that person who worries about work obsessively until it's done. So Disney would slightly lose some fun if I didn't have it done.
That's too bad about your camera battery. I went to Best Buy first and they had it for $40 but then Wal-Mart had it for $20...so I went with that. I would've made do with just charging it all the time, but all the reviews said the battery dies pretty often (it was like the only negative thing, so yay!).
This week is both the slowest and fastest week of my year to date. I've been entertaining myself by reading TRs and misc. Disboards. Also watching A Very Potter Musical/Sequel over and over and reading Chamber of Secrets...again. I think I'll make it to Prisoner of Azkaban by the time I leave.
Why couldn't Disney build the Wizarding World of Harry Potter??

ANYWAY today is Tuesday, Thursday is packing day. AHHH packing day. It's a lovely all-day affair, during which the planning video is almost a guarantee to be playing somewhere in my house. I love packing day. It's unbelievable that it's the day after tomorrow. But I feel that way every trip. It just never seems real.
So yeah, packing day is fantastic, but I think everyone knows that. My dog is getting dropped off that night at her dog-sitter's. Also, my sister's hamster and our two guinea pigs are being left at friends' houses.
I really don't know what to say. Wow.
OK I plan to start trip reporting on packing day, but if I have time I'm going to upload pictures and stuff to the PTR and then just copy it into my TR for the first post.

Yeah I'm not a procrastinator by any means, but I can't start REAL packing until the day before. I have an idea of what I'm going to bring but I have to keep myself occupied SOMEHOW.

Oh I getcha! You're a science person. I'm more of a Global/English person. Haha I tend to not to do well in math and science! I get 90's in every other class so it sucks when they bring my average down.
You could always get all your outfits together so when it's time to pack you just throw it in the bag!
Aww yeah I remember seeing that! We were saying we were going to watch that on Saturday, but ABC Family just had a commercial on saying Saturday at 9 they're showing Beauty & the Beast! We'll have to watch the HM another night.

Ahaha! Good idea about the ziploc bags. When I was bored, I went on my Notes app on my phone and wrote down what I'm planning on wearing each day so we can get out the door faster! Have fun packing!!!!!
I woke up around 6:30 this morning...which is actually pretty late for packing day. I'm usually too excited to sleep by today but it may have helped that I was REALLY tired last night. So I woke up and read some stuff, then I started to get stuff ready. I had already separated what I wanted to wear for the trip from the rest of the clothes in my closet, so I just got the Disney clothes out and laid them on my bed.
After I got everything there sorted out, I started putting them into ziplock bags. Then I added a ziplock bag for swimsuits, and one for pajamas.

Then I popped my bags into the suitcase for my sister and me (this is with both of our bags, not just mine )

Mom had the planning video on (these people are on Test Track!!)
My dad had to work a half day today, so he wasn't home for lunch, but my grandma took my mom, sister, and me out for lunch! We were back at 12, and I was mostly done. There were of course some little things, but overall, I was finished!
This is a picture of my bag all packed. It has all my pins on it, but I was worried they would be too much trouble in the airport so I took them off and packed them with my sister's lanyard. I love this bag--it's so tiny but holds a LOT of stuff

& Is that a pair of "Year of a Million Dreams" mickey ears? If it is, you are SOOOOOO lucky!! I've always wanted those. I bought the ones that everyone could buy, but those are just so cool! During the promotion I got those tinkerbell pins when I went to go trade with a cast member.

We thought it was just for the MuppetVision people, but we went through and they gave us the fastpasses! Then we called my mom and sister and they hurried over and got two pairs of the ears! They also got the Tinkerbell pins that same day too! We still have the two fastpass lanyards, and everything else, of course
Unfortunately, my dog does not understand the value of those ears, so she took it upon herself to chew them.
