This morning I was able to change the flights, and there was no penalty fee, infact we are actually getting a refund of $24.00.

So...it's saving you money to stay in Anaheim longer!

They usually have cute disney shirts at Walmart too.... I'll have to check out what they currently have. I saw a super cute "girl" toddler one the other day, but alas I don't have a cute girl toddler anymore. Shopping for your trip is half the fun in my opinion.

've been eyeing all the Christmas treats from previous years. We have a long list of snacks we want to try.

And our friends our coming too. We first asked them early the summer, and they had to wait for work schedules and finances to fall into place. They called last night to say they had booked their flights. So now we are a party of 5.

Back in September we started to eat healthier and exercise more. The goal is to lose 40-50lbs over the next year. I have to set myself a series of mini goals and rewards so I don't get overwhelmed.

One of my first challenges was to do the 30 Day Shred DVD. Have you seen it? If you haven't exercised for awhile, like me, it's pretty brutal. But I did it and survived. And as a bonus I lost a little weight, some inches and dropped a jeans size. I gained some muscle definition, some strength and energy.

My reward to myself for completing the full 30 days? A set of the MAC Venomous Villains lipglasses. Well almost a set. I didn't like the 6th colour on me, so I bought 5 of the 6. They'll be coming on the trip with me.

Nice I got the two from the Evil Queen line. I am loving them!! I wanted a couple more but it was all they had when I went in.

I've been wearing the Maleficant one today, and I really like it. It looks really dark purple in the tube, but it's a actually a pretty pink. I bought two in store and the other 4 on ebay at less than the store price.

Nice. Man, I just love the boxes alone to boot. I've got mine put away for safe keeping until I figure out what Ill do with them.

We spent the last weekend in Seattle - eating and shopping. On the Disney at Christmas thread, someone had posted a photo of Disney Christmas Ears they had found at Walgreens. I suddenly remembered this as we were driving up the I5 towards the border. Hubby googled Walgreens and then yelled at me to take the very next exit, the one that I was pretty much level with. So I was one of those annoying people who cut across three lanes of traffic to take the exit.

It paid off, I was able to grab 7 pairs of ears. 3 santa hats, and 4 princess ears. My plan was originally to buy everyone some Christmas ears once we arrived at the parks, but this is cheaper. These were only $2.99 a pair.



Right now we are a party of 5 (I used to love that show). Me, Hubby, Mr K, Mrs J and Miss M. We are hoping that another couple Mr C and Mrs A will be able to make it, but they wont know until the week, probably the day we leave. If they are not able to make it, then I'll just find someone at DL to give the extra two pairs to.

I thinking about putting together some little Christmas/Disney goody bags for everyone, and they can open them at dinner on Friday night before we go into the parks on Saturday. Umm, I'll have to think of what to put in them.

I found some more things to go in gift bags... glow sticks, bubbles, and lighted necklaces from the dollar store and Disney Princesses Candy Jewels, Disney Holiday Tattoos and Disney Chocolate eggs with a mini tree decorations inside. The eggs are all Winnie the Pooh themed so I am hoping we get 7 different decorations and not 7 Piglets. Next time we go cross border shopping I'm going to stop at Bath & Body Works and pick up some of the peppermint pocket pak hand sanitizers. And that should be good.
