Hey everyone!

Long story-ish so to cut it short so that you all stay awake....:rotfl:...my family and I have booked to go to Orlando next May, my brother and his girlfriend have only gone and got themselves pregnant (well she has...ha) and she will be due to have her baby in May

So, as we are all really close, nobody wants to go now and miss the birth of my brothers first baby! We have decided to shift it along a little bit and go for Christmas 2011!

My mum is soooo awkward  and is EVERY time that we book, we book around my mum every single time! She has gone and got herself a boyfriend (sorry...I am getting to the point) and there is only him that wont be able to fly out until Christmas Eve from 5 p.m.!

All the rest of us are planning on flying out on 19th December but my mum and her lover  (joke!) wont be able to!

After all that, here is the question.......will they be able to get flights for Christmas Eve evening from Manchester and if so, who with??

Many Thanks and apologies for that story that I attempted to cut short! :rotfl2:

I would imagine that Virgin fly from Manchester on Xmas Eve but not evening - they would need to go Xmas Day

As Tim says you can fly on Xmas eve but nothing available in the evening. Being in retail I can't fly until after about 8pm (close shop at 4pm) from Manchester, not a chance of a flight so late so we have to fly Xmas day or Boxing day.

Most flights to the US seem to take-off either morning or around lunchtime.

They could take the latest BA flight to NYC and get a connection from there but even that is 6pm so check in would be 4pm which I think is still too early from what you say.

EDIT- Sorry this would also be from London not Manchester so again no good :(

Like Wayne, we also work in retail so can't leave until evenings we have usually flown out on Christmas day before now aa the flights are always morning or lunch time.
Congratulations on becoming an auntie!

Thank you everyone! :)

Had a feeling that would be the answer, Christmas Day but just wanted to double check and nowhere better to clarify my answer than here! :goodvibes

Thanks again! :flower3:
