Christmas Eve and Charistmas Day dinner

It looks like we'll be going to the Fort for the first time this Christmas. We're going to be there the week before Christmas until the 29th. We plan on getting our park touring out of the way the first week and just relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere the second week.

DH hates making dinner reservations. He's rather cook, do counter service or go offsite.

I'm trying to decide what to have for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day dinner. For those of you who have cooked those meals while camping, what did you make (we have a travel trailer)? DH and I are both pretty good cooks, but I was looking for something that would be festive and easy.

Also, are there any offsite restaurants you'd recommend? I was also wondering about any good local chinese restaurants (not necessarily for Christmas). It would be great if we could get something delivered or ordered/picked up.

We are staying at the same time, but we are eating out, a lot of the resturants are not open on Christmas day. Trails end is open, but I would make reservations early. We are going to Epcot to see Gary Sinse and Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve. Libertytree Tavern for Christmas, we'll just have to fight the crowds.

They will not allow deliveries to the resort. But I do have some other suggestions. You might want to order xmas dinner from Publix. They will make the turkey with all the trimmings for you. You just have to pick it up.

You also might want to give Pioneer Hall a call. In previous years they also had a xmas dinner a pkg that could be delivered to your campsite, it was a complete meal. Just call the FW number that is on the back of your room reservation. In previous years they sent us a letter long before our arrival about this dinner.
