We will be there Christmas Day and was looking for suggestions on where to eat Christmas dinner? I'm assuming some places have a special menu?

Yes, and special pricing too I imagine. You need to book Christmas right away but it looks as though you have experience. I would do something in MK if you can get it because it might go on lock down and if you aren't there you can't get in. Book something tonight if possible. Do you plan on going to a park that day?

not sure about which park to do. We go enough that skipping the MK wouldn't be to sad but we've only been there on Chtistmas day one other time. I was thinking Cali Grill. My oldest loves the sushi there and it's all he talks about lol. I didn't know if there was one standout place to be;)

Just been in 2015 for Christmas. We ate at Rose and Crown for Xmas dinner. In my head, the cosy British interior, sticky pudding dessert and steak with Yorkshire pudding entree screamed Christmas. They even had a turkey meal that sounded lovely on the menu as a special meal. However, it was 90 degrees on 12/25/15 and we were seated outside, so Christmas dinner ended up being fish and chips! Still lovely. We ate at Park Faire for Christmas Eve. And this was a highlight of our trip. Grand Floridian decorations are fabulous. We did eat at Cali Grill on another night and it was my top meal of trip, so good choice there!

Last year, we had Christmas dinner at Trattoria al Forno (we were staying at BWV, so very convenient). We had visited EP earlier in the day and I'm so glad we chose a resort restaurant for dinner. It was so much more relaxing. The Boardwalk was not busy at all that night and we really enjoyed dinner and then watching the entertainment. So much nicer than battling the crowds in the parks. I would recommend going to a resort restaurant - Cali Grill is a great choice. I think Artist Point at WL would be really lovely too!

suggestions on where to eat Christmas dinner

1) Almost anywhere.
2) Only a few places actually have special menus for Christmas.
3) The reason is pretty simple:
. . . there is no "recognized" or "general" Christmas meal (like turkey on Thanksgiving)
. . . special meals typically take longer to eat, which slows "table turns"
. . . fewer "turns" means less revenue, even when prices are slightly higher
4) For "special" menu items, look into buffets for Christmas meals (most previous pricing is on the "Buffet Pricing Sticky")

Thanks so much for ideas!!! Just what I was looking for! And I hear ya with the 90 degree day we left on the 23rd:) So one more question...is there a place I can find Christmas menus or are they the same with some extra christmas addidtions?

...is there a place I can find Christmas menus or are they the same with some extra christmas addidtions?

1) Usually, they are the normal menu with additions.
. . . for Thanksgiving, many eateries have only the traditional meal
. . . for Christmas, they tend to simply add a few holiday choices
. . . for both holidays, buffets almost always have their usual items available
2) There is not a "master list" of Christmas menus, one has to look at each eatery individually.

I was just getting ready to ask the same thing!! Will be there on Christmas day and wanted to know where would be a good place to eat Christmas linch or dinner. Not much of a turkey fan.. LOL.

Rose and Crown sounds really good. I may put that down as either Christmas Eve or Day. Still working my trip out in my head. Need to put it down in writing. ADR window is not that far away.
