Planning the itinerary for our Christmas trip is forcing me out of lurkdom. :D

In addition to our family of 4, we will be taking my mother to the World for what is most likely a once in a lifetime trip, and I'm trying to select the "perfect" restaurant for our Christmas dinner. This is where I need the advice of the experts...........

Do most restaurants tend to offer their regular menu choices for the holiday, or do they replace it with a traditional Christmas meal? As of now, we are leaning toward dining at the Castle, but all recommendations are welcome.

Took me a long time to come out of Lurkdom too...welcome to the DIS!

We had lunch at the Castle last year and there was a different menu for that meal. We did a Candlelight Processional dinner that evening which was a perfect way to celebrate Christmas for us. Highly recommend that you catch that show while you're there. I remember reading that California Grill had a different menu. I think Narcoossee's and Citricos had their usual menu with some additions. Epcot resorts just have their usual menus I believe.

Be aware that the MK is a zoo that day. We went as it opened, did a couple of things before walking to mass at the CR returned for our early lunch and left. It was wall to wall people by then which was probably around 12:30.
