Hello there....when do they put the christmas decorations up at disney??

We were at Disney from 11/16/2002 - 11/23/2002, and each night the elves throughout Disney started puting up Christmas decorations while we slept. It was a nice suprise each morning. Also the characters throughout the parks were dressed in Christmas attire as well.
