A good portion of them will be up in early November. In Epcot the Holidays Around the World, Storytellers and the Candlelight Processional start right after Thanksgiving.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood have their decorations up in early November. Epcot has minimal decorations; from a couple years ago, it seemed that their Christmas Tree was the last tree up (other than MK). Have never seen the resorts fully decorated as we always left by November 11 every year. We normally go from around Oct 30 (to see both Halloween and Christmas) until Nov 10 or 11.

Interesting you'd say that about Epcot. I was there last December and after MK I thought Epcot had the most stuff (though the majority is in the World Showcase area). AK has very little because of the animals.

Some of the resorts are worth seeing. Animal Kingdom Lodge looks great.

From my experience Christmas decor goes up at Magic Kingdom a day or two after the last Halloween party. Our trip last year was Nov 17-Nov 24. When we arrived the tree was not up at POR, but magically appeared a few days into our trip.

More than likely they will be. MK for sure since MVMCP starts before that and I think the Osborne lights are set to open in early November as well.

Osborne Lights get started pretty early. I believe they are up during the week after halloween. It's a fast change over. I recommend going on the behind the scenes tour of the Christmas decorations - we went a few years back - it was terrific!

The last Halloween party in MK is Sunday Novemebr 1. Those decorations are taken down overnight and Christmas decor start to go immediately, more and more each night. The first Christmas party is Novemebr 8 so all MK decor is up!

Also I believe Osbourne Lights at HS start on November 6!

How long will they stay up? Went this year during marathon week and it was still fully decorated. Going in 2016 during marathon week again and would love to see it still decorated.

Hit or miss really. I went marathon weekend last year as well. 2014 a lot of stuff was down for marathon weekend 2015 most still up. 2016 who knows.

Does anyone know when the deluxe resorts are decorated? I was hoping to see resort decorations this year. I'll be there from Nov. 14-18.

I kind of wish Epcot and the resorts were more quick to action. I'm glad that MK and Osborne are ready to go in early November.

I've seen the resorts decorated, but will be there in mid-November with family members who've never seen them. And yes, AKL is pretty impressive.
