Christmas Decorations

Can someone tell me when they take the Christmas decorations down? We will be arriving January 2, 2007 and was hoping most of the decorations will still be up.

This past year, they didn't take them down until the third week in January.

I think the posted date by WDW is around January 7th. The Osborne Spectacle of Lights will be the first to go so make sure you get to MGM on the first leg of your trip.

From my experience, you'll be fine on Jan 2nd and for at least a week or more. The only thing I would suggest though is if you see decorations you want photos of to take the pics then and there. The decorating teams tend to dismantle entire areas in the middle of the night......what was a glorious Christmas display one day will be transformed overnight.
