Christmas decorations/Sandy area at GF?

We're thinking of staying at the GF the first week in Dec. My 1st question is regarding the decorations? Are they nicer here than at Poly? That's the other resort we're thinking of. Also, someone had written that GF has a sandy area for kids to play in. We're taking our 2 1/2 year old who loves sand - we actually were going to stay at Poly just for the sandy beaches alone. I was just curious where the sandy area is at GF, and how big it is.

As you can see, the Poly wins the "sandy beach" contest, hands down.

I have some GF holiday photos: click here to view them. I'm sorry my photos aren't the greatest, but the resort really is decorated beautifully for the holidays. My family has stayed at the Grand many times, but we haven't stayed at the Poly yet. We hope to have a Poly stay sometime soon, as I have read such lovely things about that resort (it is extremely kid-friendly, etc.).

No matter which resort you choose, have a wonderful vacation.

The Grand's decorations for Christmas are much nicer than the Poly's. And it shares the same beach as well, so your child can play in the sand at the GF too!
