When I see photos of Magic Kingdoms Main street during Christmas it is always so beautiful with wreaths draped across the street. However I have been in December the last few years and they are not there. I have noticed the decorations dwindling in the other parks as well. Has anyone else noticed this? Is Disney making budget cuts?

Nope haven't noticed.
Main Street last year

Over the years there have been cuts in MVMCP, Epcot decorations just to name some. However the wreaths and garlands are still on Main Street. This was taken last year through the snow on Main Street at MVMCP:

It could be when you arrive. They do not put some of the decorations up until after the Christmas Parade Taping has been completed. The other reason could be because Disney continues to cutback a little each year. :(

Not really! But I think they did scale way back in Epcot the past few years.

Here's some from 2011 etc. to use for comparison:

Yes, MK waits until after the Christmas Parade taping to put up the wreaths. In comparison to the pictures posted above of Main Street in December, here's one I took on November 30 during the first day of the 2012 parade taping:

Thank you Brian. That makes sense to me now. I have been there for the taping the last few years and havent seen the wreaths. These photos are beautiful and I think I will try to go a week later this year.
